Solar benches have been at citizens’ disposal since April. Two black Urban Bike models have been ordered by the Tarnobrzeg City Hall; now they are located in the city center, constantly drawing pedestrians’ attention.

Thanks to solar panels and USB ports, people of Tarnobrzeg can charge their mobile devices and use free hotspots. Solar technology provides enough energy during cloudy days and, with sufficient charging, even at night. It takes less than an hour to fully charge a smartphone!

Both benches are equipped with bike stands, which the public city spaces lacked before. They have been purchased by the City Hall as an eco-friendly and innovative solution to boost outdoor activity in the city center.
